i wanted to create an unusual colourful outfit , different from the dark shades i usually wear..:)

leon takeaways are amazing

while trying to convince myself that i wasn’t going to break into my precious savings money, as soon as i entered the Topshop concessions sale i realised this unreachable target was not going to be hit, and the only thing going to be hit was my credit card..

leafing through the numerous individual brands such as Sibling and Goldie  a colourful and somewhat haphazard concession caught my eye. Full of raw colour, shining studs and punk aesthetic,  The Ragged Priest rail distracted me long enough to be £36 down ( £4 off student discount!) and one insane jacket better off.

It reminded me of a jacket i owned as a child, naively embroidered and in colours named after ice cream flavours, more recently it reminded Meadham Kirschoff, a brand regnowned for it’s child like designs and fondant palette. The silver studs that adorn it give it an unusual rebellious edge and the fact that it was     originally a Wrangler jacket ensures quality and durability well justifying the £40 price tag

things in my life that i like at the moment 🙂.

things i love :

1. feather trim, perfect for rejuvenating an old pair of boots and giving them a new, more fashionable life ….

2. my chinese fist shaking lucky cat (unsure of proper name ) shakes his fist, day and night.. given to be by my parents as a good luck gift for my 1st fashion show.. n’aww

3: SNAPPLE. A great lemonade in an even greater retro bottle.

4: my thin studded belt, goes with anything and everything, even pastel pink.

5: dylon powder pink dye, bought at a fabric shop for half price at a closing down sale, this dye will be perfect for dip dying some old shirts, (see dip dye tips and tricks article )
